Blue Dragonfly is launching a community walk/run club dedicated to discovering the beautiful parks and trails of Hampton Roads. From sunrise strolls to 5K fun runs, BDF Walks is about moving together, supporting each other, and celebrating the power of an active life.

First Landing State Park
Scenic trails through maritime forest along the Chesapeake Bay shoreline.
Chesapeake Arboretum
Peaceful wooded paths and open meadows perfect for all fitness levels.
Norfolk Botanical Garden
Miles of paved and natural surface trails through stunning themed gardens.
Newport News Park
One of the largest municipal parks on the East Coast — over 8,000 acres of trails, two reservoirs, a Civil War battlefield, and a disc golf course. Perfect for long runs or peaceful morning walks.
Bluebird Gap Farm
A beloved free city park and farm in the heart of Hampton with open green spaces, walking paths, and a welcoming community atmosphere ideal for family-friendly fun runs.
Sandy Bottom Nature Park
456 acres of scenic trails winding through forests, wetlands, and around two gorgeous lakes. A local favorite for runners and walkers of all levels in Hampton.
Stumpy Lake Natural Area
1,422-acre hidden gem with a cypress-lined lake, wetland boardwalks, and diverse wildlife watching.
Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve
Tranquil waterfront trails perfect for morning walks and birdwatching.
